Latcher

Someone not in a group of friends who tries to become one of them by following them around all the time. The group of Friends hate the Latcher but are sometimes too afraid to say it to his face so he continues to latch onto them. It is important to ignore the Latcher, also known as a Leech and hope for him to go away. If you notice a Latcher tagging along then it is easier to ditch him earlier rather than later. The worst Latcher known to man is Adam Barnett.

Latcher

An Outsider, usually a new kid at school who will follow the popular friend groups around without actually being one of them. The Friend group actually hate the Latcher and the best thing they can do is to tell him to go away and never latch on again. The Latcher usually comes from a background where they have been ignored by parents, peers and everyone else in society. Therefore they cling onto anyone they can find, rather like a parasite or a leech. It would be fair to call a Latcher a leech.

Cool Kid: Come on lads, let's play some footie!
Barnett (example of a Latcher) follows them without being invited
Woke cool kid: Oi what are you doing you Latcher? Go back to the toilet where the rest of you pond scum reside.

Face Leech

A male friend who uses you to meet women and becomes their friend on Facebook. They accomplish this by hanging out with you in casual settings (ie. bar/festival/party). When you bump into or meet up with female friends he will latch on to her/them by using Facebook. He's very unsuspecting and he does it in secret while you are in the bathroom or distracted in another conversation with someone else. He will approach her innocently and say something like "Hey, are you guys friends on Facebook? Can I be your friend too?"

He will do this with your current girlfriend, ex-girlfriends, or long time female friends.

Ways to figure if your friend is Face Leech:

1. Hang out with him at a bar till you accidentally bump in to a female friend. Next morning, check to see if they are friends on Facebook. If they are friends and you seemed to have missed the conversation about them being friends on Facebook... Your friend is probably a Face Leech.

2. Look in your mutual friends with him. If its all girls and just another guy or two... He's most likely a Face Leech.

Dude, Bob and I were hangin at the bar and accidentally bumped in to my ex-girlfriend Kristin... and now their Facebook friends!?!?!?!? I hope that Face Leech isn't' trying to go for sloppy seconds!

Lobby Leech

(noun) - An online gamer who jumps from lobby to lobby of gamers they don't know, but have previous gamed with online, in order to quickly join a gaming lobby and obtain a more solid Internet connection by making the unknown lobby leader the "host".

I just open up the previous gamers section, and boom, Lobby Leeching ahoy.
