With young Millenials seeming like overgrown adolescents, it's a good thing 'plant parents are the new pet parents'.

PC term used mostly at school to prevent the kids whose biological parents do not have custody of them or kids of deceased parents from feeling lesser than "regular" kids.

Teacher: Have your parent or guardian sign this paper and bring it in tomorrow.

Kid: Man, I know my moms signed her rights over to my grandma, but y'all don't have to rub it in my face with this parent or GUARDIAN bullshit.

The presence of a parent or an adult within earshot of a conversation that a teen is having with another teen with a topic they don't want the adults to know about.

while talking on the telephone:
Teen1:"So how was your date with the new hottie from school?"
Teen2:"Uhm...will tell you about it tomorrow..."
Teen1:"Oh! So there's parental guidance there now eh?"
Teen2:"Yup!"

Single parent

Single parent means the parent is the only parent to the child, responsible for all financial, material and emotional needs. It means there is an absence of the other parent as opposed to a co-parent; meaning that the parent is not the only parent regardless of whether or not they are a couple.

I am a single parent. I have my child 7 days a week.

The type of person who looks at an object and despite the context, somehow finds a way to project a completely unrelated meaning, intent, or resemblance onto that object; generally done to disparage that object or the person displaying that object.

I showed my roommate a shoop da whoop video and now she's convinced I'm racist because that face somehow "enables the ongoing oppression and dehumanization of Blacks in America for like 200 years"...err something like that. Jfc... what a pareidoliac.

Facebook Parenting

When your friends update status always have something to do with the kids being out of control, they are secretly asking for advice on how to handle the situation.

Tim: did you see Kim's facebook status all day yesterday?

Todd: Yeah, she is always talking about her bad kids.

Tim: That is what you call Facebook Parenting. She doesn't know how to control the kids.
