kinda ups

A variation on wordkeine ups/word, playing on the similarity of sound between kinda and keine.

It is used when one is just about average or has achieved some trivial level of success. Also, it is used in pity on those who do indeed have keine ups, but might lose it if they were informed as such.

Person 1: "Oh God, if one more person tells me I have keine ups I'm going to shoot myself in the face."
Person 2: "Don't worry. You have kinda ups."

rigg up

A stupid, avoidable situation that is the result of poor judgment or a lack of street smarts and which has gotten or is likely to get one into trouble.

Popularized by Oakland, CA rappers Dru Down and the Luniz in songs like "Rigg Up" and "Playa Hata".

Big Ups

An exclamatory term usually proclaimed for a positive, surprising, or celebratory event. The volume at which it's said, any additional adjectives or sentence enhancers, or duration determines the level in its hierarchical context.

Friend: "Man, I just broke up with my ball and chain girlfriend today"

You: "Big Ups man!! You're free again, let's go find some ass to help you out!!"
