take a camel

A phrase, to do something in a way which is stereotypical of someone's race, culture, religion, ethnicity or nationality. Coined from Ann Coulter's reply to a Muslim student at a speech at a university in Ontario, when asked what mode of transport to take instead of planes or a magic carpet. Also taking a camel or taking the camel.
Person 1: Why are you trying to eat your steak with chopsticks? Don't take a camel mate. *hands knife and fork*
