Get the dead froggedmug. A short-lived and delusional surge in the stock market or economy that occurs under conservative leadership. This usually happens after a crash, scandal, or policy blunder. It mimics a “dead cat bounce” but with heavier consequences, more denial, and louder press conferences. Symbolically named after the GOP elephant, it represents the false hope injected into markets by tax cuts, culture wars, or trickle-down talking points that no longer land.
Conservatives passed that stimulus for billionaires and called it a recovery. Dead elephant bounce if I’ve ever seen one.

Get the Dead girl WALKINGmug. A sandwich that may or may not have a dead rat inside. Upon ordering the Dead Rat Surprise at any sandwich shop, an employee will slice six loaves of bread and toss a dead rat into one. They will then roll a dice and use the bread indicated by the die for your sandwich. The other loaves of bread will be served to other customers.
I ordered the Dead Rat Surprise at Subway last night. I feel bad for the fool who got the rat sandwich.

Finding a website that mom would love, I thought about calling her, momentarily forgetting that she had passed. I realized that dead dialing can happen long after a loved one is gone.
