In Japanese adult video (JAV), Planning (as a tag or category) is a common translation of the word "kikaku" (企画). This refers to videos that feature a plan, game, or prank that results in the sex scene taking place. This does not necessarily mean that the scenario depicted in a Planning video involves rape, drugging, deception, mind control, or the like. A better translation might be "situation" (cf. situation comedy), because the video features some thin plot or story that leads to the sex, rather than the more typical sort of setup for a video.
