A dumb, little dog (or if used loosely can pertain to any dog) with it's ear tucked back.

Incorrectly used as term for "I don't care". Correct usage: sound of resignation and helplessness. Secondary correct usage: word of simple acknowledgment, subject to emotional circumstance

Example 1: "You will die in a fortnight."
"Meh."
