A move in YouTube, in which the content creator posts a goodbye video, detailing his/her reasons on why he/she is leaving YouTube. Said content creator may come back into YouTube around 2-5 years after aforesaid goodbye video was posted.

Coined from the YouTube channel TheBatesee, who posted a video 3 years ago detailing his reasons to leaving YouTube. 3 years later, he comes back posting a video about what did he miss. He uploads regularly now.

"Hey, you heard of content creator? Weren't they inactive around the last two years or so?"
Yeah, I think they did a Batesee because they started posting videos again.

The Bateman Express

The act of bouncing a bowling ball of the "barriers" numerous times in the interest of getting strike after strike after strike. Often used by bowling n00bs who can't throw straight. Often resultng in breaking of the barriers, or the ball hoping into someone elses lane and pissing a bunch of people off.
