A “koofygish” refers to an individual, primarily a YouTuber, who runs off to start a new channel under a new rebrand and identity after they got exposed for certain bad actions (pedophilia, racism, harassment, etc) they did either at the time of being exposed or from their past. A successful Koofygish is one who manages to succeed on YouTube whilst hiding their real/past identity.
This term was coined after the Roblox YouTuber Koofy, who was exposed by kakav420 in 2024 as Kelogish, who used to be popular in the Roblox community until he was exposed in 2021 for grooming a minor and banned from YouTube and Roblox as a result before secretly rebranding as Koofy about a month after his old channel’s deleted.
