American Idiot

To claim you are a die hard fan of Green Day when you only started liking them after American Idiot came out.

Instead of appreciating Green Day's older music, you play the two or three songs you downloaded on repeat until next week, when you will probably like a different band.

*Note: Newer Green Day albums are still decent but people who only like Green Day for songs like Know Your Enemy, don't really know what Green Day are all about.

Guy 1: "Oh man! I just love Green Day! I love their new stuff like Know Your Enemy, but I also love their old stuff like Holiday as well!"

Guy 2: "Shut up you American Idiot."

Simplified and modified cuisines copied from all over the world. Mostly hearty and greasy food, they are pan-fried, deep fried or baked. Seldomly steamed, and do not include other body parts from any animal besides their meats. Since fast food restaurants are so abundant in America, one could argue that American food actually implies fast food.

"I will show you what real American food is all about - super-size the fries and three patties, please."

"Despite ice-cream was invented by the Chinese, pizzas by the Italians, only Americans can make them taste so good and fattening! I love American food!"

disapproval of social system, politics and lifestyle in the usa.

to criticize specific aspects of american politics or society isn't anti-americanism. if so, every us american politician would be anti-american... sounds logical, ehh?!
