And HOPEFULLY... I can detroy their lives from the grave... And then they kill themselves. It's a win-win"

Born on October 25th 1990, Ryan Preece or Rocketman, is nominated as one of the best cup drivers by many. He's got one problem, He's been held back by his equipment. This claim stems from the fact that he joined a dying Stewart-Haas Racing in 2023. Another factor to consider are his truck Series stats. As of April 30th 2025 he has 11 top 10s out of his 12 starts in trucks. A pretty impressive record to look at especially in this day and age. In Xfinity, his stats are subpar there as well. He made starts for JGR and has won for them as well. But his first couple years in cup were disastrous. JTG was supposedly had potential coming into 2019 and failed miserably from there until Preece left in 2021. In 2022 he ran a part time schedule with Rick Ware Racing until he got his second full time opportunity in the form of the #41 Ford Mustang GT provided by Stewart-Haas Racing. 2023 wasn't much better than his time at JTG but they were a sub improvement at best. 2024 was his worst season on record. Coming out of 2024 it seemed as if Preece wouldn't get another chance. Out of nowhere in the off season, Preece got the call from a rising RFK Racing to drive their #60 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. Ever since then, he's had a glimmer of light in his skill behind the wheel. The only bad thing that's happened to him within the past 2 weeks was a DNF at Talladega this past weekend at the time of me typing this entry.
