A TV channel that was once defined by showing awesome and entertaining music videos, concerts and live performances made by talented artists in music. Now it's nothing but an asinine joke defined by teenage pregnancy, annoying Italian Americans, and completely shitty noise disguised as music videos (which RARELY make appearances).

MTV-Musical telivison.
MTV is a network national channel that rarely plays music except during the credits, insomia hours, and during a sad scene in laguna beach. Instead they show "reality" shows raiding rooms and dates with your mom. MTV introduces different music out to people, but making it seem like its a trend or style. In some opioin MTV ruins music making it seem to comerical or fake. MTV also playes the same songs over and over again until your just to busy bashing your head in to turn off the T.V.

The worst thing to happen to TV. The ONLY good thing about "MTV" was the old Headbanger's Ball hosted by the man, Riki Rachtman. Nowadays, everyone from stupid elementary kids to middle schoolers, esp. HS'ers and college kids watch this stupid channel and continue to embrace it. It chafes my balls that people love the stupid shit they spew to everyone. They don't even show music anymore, it's all really stupid shows. Teaching hot girls to be prude, to dress like little whores, who are cock-tease, stuck up bitches. Teaches people to be either: emo fags, wiggers or pretty boys.

Back in the day, a.k.a 1980's, the general rule of thumb was "if your white your right, if your black, stay back" and played a bunch of hair bands. Circa 1990 Nirvana is discovered and they play a metric assload of grunge. Then they realise "oh shit! there's more black people now, we better cater to the next big thing." and play nothing but rap. Then out of Mtv spawned Mtv2 made specificly for rock, since Mtv is all reality shows and rap now, but in time that turned to all rap and reality as well. So out of that came the fuse, and it followed the same path as the other two.

It is supposed to be about music, yet they play reality shows like the Real World (which has nothing to do with the actual real world) and only show music videos at 5:30 in the morning. Any sensible human would not wake up that early to watch some retarded rapper talk about his "bling bling" and such. If you want to become an extramely dense retard and think that beauty is the only thing that matters, keep watching MTV. If not, block that channel.
