A high-alcohol alcopop beverage that is both cheap and strong in alcohol ( > 8%). The user quickly becomes pissed ultimately leading to infighting even between friends (the hate).

This is frequently used by ex-pats in Japan and Singapore to describe the Chūhai family of drinks.
