teenage(or pre-teens) girls who are posers. they like whatevers "cool" at the time. they only like bands for their looks and popularity. they like to sceam things like: "MARRY MEE!!!" to the band members. they don't know how to spell so they type Lyk DiS. they wear way too much makeup. they make comments about how 'hott' the band members are ("Lyk, OMG, thur lyk, sOoOoOo hawt!!"). they never mention the music. on message boards they'll have screen names like: "PxNk rAwK pRiNCeSs"

Comet Hale-Bopp

a spectacular comet that graced our skies in 1996 - 1997. It lead to lots of stupid New Age speculation due to the "prophecy" and angel-encounter end-of-the-millenium bullshit that was going on in near the end of the 20th century. There were cult suicides, and superstitious predictions that did not come true. It was very prominent in the sky in early to mid 1997. Dubbed the "Comet of the Century", Hale-Bopp was a thrill to see and a once in a lifetime event, although you can't tell when the next comet "biggie" may come our way.

Comet Hale-Bopp was discovered by the American astronomers Alan Hale and Thomas Bopp.

2. originated in Bay Area, CA and used by the younger generation in Jr High and High School. a person who hangs out at public places and just hangs out and does nothing. a window shopper can be a bopper. places a bopper goes: the mall, movies, arcades, etc. wearing backpacks also make you look like a bopper, hence it is bopper attire. verb form - to bop around (boppin').

A) Dat slut at the party was actin like a bopper. She was hella all up on me just cuz I just bought a new car.

B) Kid 1: I saw Tommy at the mall today, he was hella boppin' around n shit. He just came from school with his backpack on so he looked like a bopper.
