Anyone fortunate enough to grow up in a town that’s small enough to have nothing to do but burn gas knows this song by heart. 2. For true rednecks, Free Bird is also a reference of time (slightly less than 10 min). Those who have this song on repeat know how many Free Birds it takes to get from place to place. If you find a man like this, trust everything he says and never bet against him.
