Despite being called white, many of them are actually red due to them generally having a greater quantity of visibly dilated blood vessels under the skin of their faces as compared to peoples of other races. Ironically, “red” is a term they use to describe Native Americans despite the fact that far fewer of them have tomatoes for faces than white people. Certain notable members of this species also exhibit non-white skin tones, such as the famously orange POTUS Donald Trump.
White people are difficult to look at under bright sunlight due to the high reflectance of white surfaces.
