Tumblr Tatt 

Tattoos originated from Tumblr that are now copied by hipsters, making them completely unoriginal.

Usually those people with no imagination or personality whatsoever will get these inked onto their bodies, preaching their 'personal meaning' behind it, when really 200 other people have the exact same design, and sometimes, placement.

Like pirating music, someone would've been commissioned to design that piece originally, with their customer thinking they would be the only one to have it, then the artist will throw away the original print. These hipsters are offensively then copying it, without permission, insulting the artist and then that customer now has another little person running around the Earth with the tattoo that actually meant something to them only.

- Flocks of birds.
- A dandelion's seeds morphing into tiny birds.
- Dreamcatcher.
- Anchor.
- Infinity symbol inclusive of a word.
- Birthdate in Roman numerals.
- A crucifix (for non-religious reasons).
- Feather.

Tumblr Crash of 12/12/12

The infamous tumblr crash of December 12, 2012, is the day when tumblr was down for hours with no warning. Lots of "MY FEELS" and "ALKAFELFJAFJEWLAKJKA" resulted from this. People believe this is really the end of the world, because it happened on a triple date. Some also think that it was also another social experiment conducted by Cole Sprouse.

-Hey Liz, what are you doing?
-Nothing. I think there might be another tumblr crash of 12/12/12 going on. What will I do with my life? MY FEELS.

Tumblr Feminism 

The school of feminist thought that, instead of fighting for gender equality, is more concerned with seeming liberal and feminist and not actually *being* feminist. This is often achieved through strict internet doctrine and openly ostracizing those who do not agree with them. One other symptom of Tumblr Feminism is that, when asked to explain their opinions, sufferers will get angry and storm off rather than actually answering the question. Similar words and ideas include Feminist Nazi, fringe feminists, and feminventing.

Origin: The term "Tumblr Feminism" derives from the social media site Tumblr, which is one of the major gathering places of those with such beliefs. However, Tumblr is not the only site this phenomenon is present, and likewise, not all feminists on Tumblr are true "Tumblr Feminists."

"She told me that I was anti-woman for thinking strip clubs are wrong. Don't strip clubs actually contribute more to the objectifying of women, which is detrimental to female rights?"
"Yeah, don't put much stock into what she says about the matter. She's a Tumblr Femininist."

"Because she believes in Tumblr Feminism, she is against all forms of shaming. Unless, of course, it involves shaming someone who has a different opinion than her."

A girl (or boy, but generally a girl) who thinks that re-blogging photos from their parent's basement on a MacBook that they didn't buy with their own money is "being an activist" when in reality they have probably never gone to a protest, fundraiser, or meeting for any social justice organization and probably never will cause any civil change in their lifetime. Similar to a "Facebook Activist" a la the Kony 2012 viral video.

A Tumblr Feminist will also post pictures of themselves naked or half-naked on the internet and claim it is "art" and attack any person who talks about their body (despite the fact they posted their tits on the internet).

"Amy is a total Tumblr Feminist, one time she wrongfully accused that guy of rape just to get some twitter followers."

Tumblr Person

Mostly teenage girls that spend the majority of their time on tumblr laughing at text posts made by other tumblr people and watching shows like supernatural, pretty little liars, and American horror story. These people have a very sarcastic sense of humor and are usually a bit antisocial when offline. These people don't get a lot of sleep due to tumblr. The text posts made by tumblr people are usually very relatable to other tumblr people, but tumblr can be a very scary place sometimes if you are not a tumblr person.
