Any noisy alarm-device that produces an ear-piercing and/or highly-irritating noise every time it detects anything amiss. Can also loosely refer to the hair-trigger wrongness-detecting consciousness of an overly-zealous/sensitive person who vociferously protests anything and everything that he deems inappropriate, unfair, dangerous, unsanitary, etc.

Howard Hughes was infamous for his irrational behavior and assorted phobias; one of his most notorious disorders was his overactive squawkometer regarding germs.

Referring to a young man who has a strong love of computers and programming, but is physically disabled and tends to waddle like a penguin. "Squank" can also refer to the noise that someone would make if they don't get their way in life. A "Squank" also typically follows the beliefs of his or her or zhe or zher God, Donald J. Trump, and verbally obliterates all Left-leaning disabled members of society who stand in his way, or "F*cking Libtards" in his words.

Wow, I've seen many squanks today yelling at Best Buy employees. Jeez, there's another one making Jimmy cry for genuinely believing Socialism will work in the USA.
