When key political figures allign themselves clearly above and beyond party policy.

Ronald Regan & Margaret Thatcher are classic examples. each required to strengthen their own parties position yet the driving through off policy went further due to the Polimance that existed between this pair.

A new polimace is developing more recently between Vladimir Putin & Arnold Schwarzenegger. Putin recently commissioned a bust of himself as gift for Arnie.
