Origionally, a type of sport engaged in by shooters and bird hunters. It involves a small disc, commonly called a "clay pigeon," being launched in the air and shot at with a shotgun. It has become quite popular in the U.S. since its origionation, and is quite a competitive sport. the shooter must be able to aim and fire quickly at a moving target.
