2. Slang term used within Police forces to denote disgruntled officers who didn't achieve promotion. Stands for "Pissed off, passed over."

Cop 1: (To new recruit) "I'm telling you the job sucks. Look at me, 15 years of service and I still didn't make Sergeant."
Cop 2 : "Don't listen to him son, he's just a disgruntled old Po-Po."

Popovich

To popovich something means to skip, or forget about it. There's no point in doing it, and you'd rather just chill and let shit happen.

Origin: Gregg popovich of the san antonio spurs just gave duncan, ginobli and parker (his 3 best players) the day off, because they would have got too tired to play back to back games.

Using his method, he almost nearly prevailed in beating the denver nuggets, and in doing so, infuriated the coach of the denver nuggets. Although the nuggets won the game, they never got the satisfaction of beating their spurs.

Yo did you go to class this morning?
Nah, I decided to popovich that shit.

This is another name for "cops" or the "police". It is of hip-hop/rap culture origins, and is one of my favorite words. Hearing this word can often make one laugh as well.
