jump value

The monetary difference between your current salary and what employers are courting you with. Was common in the 90s with web developers and solution architects when they were switching jobs frequently to have jump values of five figures when all bonuses and incentives were calculated. This number was often compared against the potential for salary hikes with an existing employer over x years, but also as a way to guage one's 'rank' or value in the .com revolution.

-Right now I've got a jump value of $20k, and this company is actively recruiting me, so I'm thinking about doing it.

Someone who prematurly acts. Usually when the person thinks another individual is done with an object and makes it their own or throws it away(etc.) when in fact the individual was not through using the object.

Jump-Fucker

A Jump-Fucker is a person, usually around the ages of 13 to 16, who jumps around on an FPS game to avoid being shot, especially on maps with some kind of jump boost. It's considered some kind of strategy, jumping around like a fucking cocaine-devouring rabbit. While Jump-Fucking makes you a harder target to hit, it also makes you one of the most annoying kinds of players, along with spawn killers and campers. It is also possible to develop ADHD while performing this disgraceful strategy.

Jon: George, you only got two kills that round. What happened?

George: Those damn Jump-Fuckers, man. It's like trying to shoot a flying slinkie.
