bashing your point

The act of claiming that something validates your point, but you don't explain why, and instead use statements such as, "It's obvious why". Often, the thing in question DOES NOT validate your point, and so you have to lie in order to keep your point intact.

Person A: This balloon proves my model!
Person B: But why?
Person A: Why? It's obvious why!
Person B: You need a reason why.
Otherwise, you're bashing your point.

Bossing

A Bossing is an instruction to yourself, often to make yourself do the things you know you oughta do, but don’t really want to do.

“Don’t sit on your arse all day, you lazy turdmunch!” is a Bossing, designed to get you active and get rid of the embarrassing imprint of your butt in the sofa.

“Eat a goddamn salad, lard-tits” is a good Bossing to stop yourself ordering pizza for lunch for the fourth time this week.
