Recuperation Day

(noun) The day after a sickness you contracted has finally subsided, but you are not sure if you should go back to work/school. In essence, a free day where you could go but you "don't think your up to it".

He told me he was feeling better. I guess he's just taking a recuperation day.

What a dickweed: his recuperation day has turned into a recuperation week. I'm stuck with all his work now. Lazy ass bastard.

Green Day

Okay, here's the deal. Green Day is a punk rock band from Berkley, California. In the '90's they were huge (especially 94) for bringing back punk with The Offspring and a few other bands. They have gotten a lot of shit thrown on them for going on to a bigger label so that they could make better produced records. Most of their fans are either die-hard and like the bands that Green Day themselves like (The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, The Replacements, Husker Du, ect.) or are duchebags who have only heard one song by them and didn't even know that they existed in the 90's. Recently, they have written rock operas that have political stories.
