Ghost In the Shell Series

A classic cyborg themed science-fiction anime. Like wine when it ages up becomes more tasty and valuable. The well made character stories make it hotter and hotter. I should mention that the anime has intense soundtracks and musics made by the legendary composer Yoko Kanno and voiced by Origa who literally has an angelic voice. The philosophy of this anime is actually based on Arthur Koestler's The Ghost in the Machine.

Motoko Kusanagi: What if a cyber brain could possibly generate its own ghost, create a soul all by itself? And if it did, just what would be the importance of being human then?
Random anime enjoyer: Oh well, it's so deep. Time to watch whole Ghost In the Shell Series!

You make the decision not to respond to that person trying to slow fade and one up them by ignoring messages and phone calls.

ghost hype

Hype generated for a product, typically movies and television shows, in which people convince themselves that something will appear in this aforementioned product for little to no reason. Often times the evidence to warrant this hype is unfounded, and other times they are practically nonexistent. Some things that generate ghost hype are fan theories, rumors, photoshops ext. in most cases of ghost hype, the thing they got exited for are not present in the final product. Which results in the product being bombarded with negative reviews, but they will never admit they have fell victim to ghost hype and will instead site other reasons for the product for being bad.

Ghost hype victim: “I’m so excited for Tobey Maguire Spider-Man to team up with Hugh Jackman‘s wolverine!”

Normal person: “I’m pretty sure that not happening. Be careful you aren’t falling victim to ghost hype bro.”

Ghost hype victim: “no dude! It’s gotta happen!”
