A man who stops caring about validation and social hierarchies and solely focuses on bettering himself for the sake of being better.
Unlike alphas, who exist at the top of social hierarchies because they crave validation, sigmas see through hierarchies altogether. They recognize social climbing as a waste of energy and instead redirect that energy into simply becoming better for it's own sake.

“Sigma”
A “sigma” person is a person who is usually racist, misogynistic and can’t stand the lgbt or furry community, usually by making fun and or generally bullying a member of a certain community, and then having others justify their actions by calling them a “sigma”, not to be confused with actual sigma individuals that actually have respect for peoples feelings.

Sigma Hater
One who possesses a disproportionate disdain for single bonds. Known colloquially as "pi snobs," these individuals are predisposed to looking down on saturated molecules.

sigma male
A more internally-focused sibling to the alpha male. While the alpha male quantifies himself on his high position in the social hierarchy, a sigma male prefers to forego the social hierarchy and need for external validation altogether and pursue internal strength instead. Essentially a "loner" or a stray man, although sigma males may have a close circle of friends and loved ones with whom they share a deep connection. The sigma male is not socially inept but simply socially disinterested. Prefers solitary activities where he doesn't have to play social politics and can simply focus on himself. The sigma male accepts that he does not need power over others as the alpha male desires, but rather needs only power to control himself and preserve his own autonomy from others. Sigma males are often pragmatic but may be seen by others as aloof, paranoid, secretive or selfish.
