Many times this is how inside jokes form. the term was coined by failed rapper Pistol P3te when on Patrick Nemaizer/3mbrace's Instagram live when he witnessed a Neme in the making and took the opportunity to capitalize on the funny moment by putting his input into "pat neems laughs and memes" a novelty album
