The dipleaucracy here is unreal: the Mission Team had to expand to include two Diplomatic Assistants needed to manage the letters stating gifts were not expected, checking to see what gifts were being given in spite of the letters, procuring appropriate reciprocal gifts and composing thank you notes to then be vetted by the Thank You Note Committee at the Embassy.
