NDEC Cannibalism

NDECC, Nondestructive Ethical & Consensual Cannibalism. This means it is done very sparingly to avoid lasting harm to the donor or consumer, or it is done with amputated tissue. (Think foot taco guy). Another example would be the practice of eating the placenta after a baby is born. NDECC Includes the practice of vampirism when done safely.
May sometimes be done as a sexual fetish but it is not exclusively a sexual practice, and may have significance to some for spiritual reasons.

The two had loved each other so much, they began to be the same person. One being the reason the other grew. One being the nutrients for the other. They had begun to commit romantic cannibalism.
