They originated from Teignmouth, Devon, England (which is where i live!) and have been writing music for over 25 years now. Consisting of three men, Matt Bellamy- frontman, singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist, Chris Wolstenholme- Bassist, backing singer and possible the best banger and Dom Howard- Drummer and Human Bones player.
