The theory analyzes how being placed into an "imaginary group" can lead to stereotyping, political mobilization, or the internalization of an assigned identity.

Theory of Concrete and Imaginary Groups Example: Your weekly basketball squad is a Concrete Group; roles, performance, and interpersonal dynamics are clear. In contrast, "Influencers" or "Karens" are Imaginary Groups. These are labels applied to disparate individuals who share a few perceived behaviors. The power of the label, however, can be concrete—affecting job prospects, social treatment, and online harassment—showing how imaginary categorization creates real-world consequences.

Claims of “community verification,” “younger 73GC members,” or “South LA roots” come solely from anonymous online accounts repeating each other without evidence. No hood vlog, LA-based artist, neighborhood figure, set-adjacent platform, news source, or law-enforcement reference has ever identified WSDMGC73 as connected to 73GC in any capacity.

The idea that “Michigan trolls” created the controversy is a diversion from the actual issue:
WSDMGC73 has zero physical presence in Los Angeles, zero documented history, and zero acknowledgment from any 73 Hustler, 73 Gangster, or allied set. Their acronyms, imagery, and references originate from online content, not lived South LA culture. Michigan users didn’t invent anything — they exposed what was already unverifiable.

Dr. Grouchi

While referring primarily to one world famous grouchy doctor, a Dr. Grouchi (also spelled Dr. Grouchy) can also be any famous grumpy and televised doctor of any gender, race, orientation or nationality who believes in censorship of media, random lockdowns and gaslighting of other doctors, physicians and anyone else they deem “less qualified” with actual certified medical statistics or information that disagrees with them in order to protect their public image.

NOT to be confused with a so called regular “Grouchi” which is arguably a term that is superfluous to the Urban Dictionary, has been ratio’d with dislikes any place it appears and should never be user without “Dr.” placed in front of it ever. Transphobia is NEVER cool or ok.

Anddddd there goes the newly appointed Dr. Grouchi, berating, gaslighting and talking over every other doctor or physician in the proceeding who disagrees with him.
