Spending large amounts of money, and/or the emotional toll that comes with such actions.

In his song "All of the Lights", Kanye West used this saying in the line "I slapped my girl, she called the feds; I spent that time, I spent that bread".

In the second verse he says "Courts suck me dry, I spent that bread".

shred bread

A word describing the totality of send that a skier displays during the descent of a ski line, including speed of descent, steeze, and fullness of send. It is a quality contained by a skier, typically described as having "too much" or "not enough." See gnar butter for similar phrase.

I totally spreaded the gnar butter on the shred bread when I hucked that cornice with a backie and stomped the mando-air out of the 45 degree couloir.
