Khoi is the love of your life. She’s not your girlfriend or anything. She’s even better. She’s a best friend. A sister. You haven’t known her for long. She’s the person you think of when listening to love songs even though you’re not dating her. She’s the person that wipes your tears during a tough breakup or any minor problem. Khoi has a lot of problems of her own that you don’t think she shares. You know she has them. But she puts them aside for you. There’s not a call from you she won’t answer. You wish she’d come to you more when she’s having a rough day. She doesn’t wanna burden you by complaining about things she thinks are mundane but you’re fine with it. Whether it’s the smallest ick or the biggest problem in the world. You wouldn’t mind listening because she listens to you. Khoi sells herself short. She doesn’t think she’s pretty. She doesn’t think she’s good at much. But you think otherwise. She’s gorgeous. She’s amazing at what she does. You’re so proud of her. She’s grown so much since you met. You tell her everything. Sure you think you overshare quite a bit sometimes but she doesn’t mind. You love her really. For everything. You love her. You love the jokes you can make with her. You love the way she can make you laugh. You love the way she can spend so much time with you. You love the way she’s never bored talking to you. You love her. She’s the best person in the world to you. You couldn’t ask for anyone better than Khoi. You thank your lucky stars for Khoi.
