hoover cooler

Derivative of "Hoovertown" and "Hoover Blanket". It is a makeshift cooler made of a cardboard box lined with newspaper.

Unlike the other "Hoover" words, this isn't a sign of poverty as much as convenience (when you don't want to take an empty cooler home).

What's in the box, Paul?

Redneck cooler law

The unwritten redneck law that says if you place your alcohol in another redneck's cooler, said redneck has the right to leave without making the other redneck aware of them leaving. The alcohol placed in his cooler then becomes his own.

Jim Tom: "Hey Bubba, where'd Cletes go? My beer was in his cooler"
Bubba: "Cletes went to his trailer, that's his beer now"
Jim Tom: "How's it his beer?"
Bubba: "That's the redneck cooler law fer ya"

Cooler Than The Other Side of a Pillow

A phrase used to imply that someone is really cool, awesome, and amazing. This person is pro at life. He/She usually has a long list of talents, but is often known for one specifically. When a person uses this phrase to describe themself, they are a fag.

This phrase stems from the fact that on hot summer nights, people often flip their pillow over on to the other side because it is cooler since their body heat has not worn off onto that side.

Kyle got lucky and swished a shot from half court and /thought/ he was cooler than the other side of a pillow. Shawn however drains half court shots constantly and we all knew that it was Shawn who was really cooler than the other side of a pillow.
