Nintendo's new online service that launched at the same time as Mario Kart DS. The idea is great, Nintendo games online. The execution of friends is done worse in Mario Kart DS than it is in a third party game, Tony Hawk's American Sk8tland.
Proof that Nintendo means well but dropped the freaking ball:
To play someone specific online requires the exchange of friend codes. A process that can't be done in game. So if I play a stranger, have a good match, and want to add him to my friend list I can't.
Disconnecting results in no penalty to the disconnecting player.

They usually target people who have big egos online and make them realize that they care too much about their internet persona. A good deed some may say...
One guy does everything, he's the brains of the operation withim this group and is pretty knowledgeable with any computer related thing you throw at him. He tends to keep a very low profile.
The other guy spends the monthly American salary on cheats, and just runs their discord.
The third guy is just a troll and scams people on social media, but somehow is able to pull alot of money in.
Anyone else within this group is the 3 main people's personal friends that play games amongst each other or just sit around and enjoy the show that unfolds in front of their eyes.
