Spectators usually gather along the sides of this incline to watch as runners armed with running spikes and climbing picks challenge the near 90° vertical grade. This Mountain is the home many annual CISAA runs including the X-Country finals at the end of the fall sport season. Is is common knowledge that many people attempt the hill only to take a very long time and, or even possibly fail.
