A girl, who, at thirteen years old, released a song called "Friday" on YouTube on February 10, 2011 with Los Angeles, California based independent record label "Ark Music Factory". By March 13, 2011, her video got 2 million hits. This was a result of her name becoming a trending topic on both tumblr and twitter. Overall, the video and song are both extremely terrible. Thus, there was much ridicule and making fun of her and the song for a while after it went viral. Daniel Tosh even mentioned it on his blog and there were numerous covers, renditions, and remixes made of it on the internet.
