When two people, who, by chance like each other, but can't commit themselves to a relationship straight away (maybe due to age difference, or other situations etc.) agree to play The Long Game, essentially saying "I'll wait for you".

Tie game

It is when a game comes to an end where both teams finish on equal terms and no team can be considered a winner.

It is also one of the most infuriating and pointless things in existence.

1: Ah mate, I just played an awesome match just now.
2: Really? Who won?
1: Ah nobody, it was a tie game
2: Wow, that's awesome!
1: Not really, I just spent 90 minutes playing one of the toughest games of my life and nobody won. A complete waste of time.
