When a story takes a character who once had a lot to do and gives them some throwaway task to keep them busy. The term comes from the movie Ratatouille, when Linguini, who was once the restaurant’s top chef, is discovered to be faking it and Remi, the rat, takes over the kitchen, resorting Linguini to waiting the tables.

freezer to table

An amazing, groundbreaking food movement that is now surpassing the once popular "farm to table" movement. Freezer to table involves taking frozen foods (such as tater tots, or giant vats of ice cream) that involve little to no preparation or culinary talent.

After a long night at The Clermont Lounge, I was starving and prepared a great freezer to table meal consisting of cheese sticks and Eggo Waffles.

The OG Table

A festering amalgamation of toxicity, spilt milk, and good memories. Many chicken strips wasted, ice packs yeeted, lunches ruined, insults thrown, Foxes slain. Many comers-and-goers such as Rotisserie Chihuahua, Joe Mama and the Caramelizer. The OG five: wpkoski, PortedData, savitor, FoxSlayer and the Turtle Lips. Then there’s Sheriff McClain! Colonel Sanders and his weed eyes, Kermit the Frog and the Syrup stick, the whore para and her ass-phone, Brad and his religious teachings, now it’s Mr. Manney (watch out, Fox). Food fights and verbal wars were very common, almost daily at this table but goddamn, it is nostalgic asf.

Me: Bro where should we sit at lunch?
Fox: Dude let’s sit at the OG Table!

Table Boss

A Hawaiian spearfishing nickname for the Tarry Hogfish or Aka 'a'awa. Named so because it is so foul to eat that it inevitably rules the dinner table untouched at the end of the meal. It has come to refer to the "last choice" in any category.

Example 1: "Did you smell my wife's casserole? That will be table boss for sure."
Example 2: "That poor kid will never get a girl to dance with him. He's total table boss."
