The worst type of torture you can suffer from.

delayed reaction

When someone makes a reaction that is delayed. Obviously. This happens by means of mental illness or just stupidity.
Dude1: Haha, you suck.
Dude2: (*smacks Dude1*)

((two minutes later))

creative reaction

A moment of unlimited potential, where energy and creativity are released in high yields. (A more descriptive term for "being in the zone", the phrase it replaces.) The conditions necessary for a creative reaction are a well-engineered infrastructure, simplified business procedures, and productivity skills which enable creatives to shut out distractions, make the most of available time, and be energized. When these conditions are met, the spark of creativity is all that is needed for a creative reaction to occur.
I shut my door, turned the ringer off, then quit out of chat & e-mail. I got SO MUCH of my screenplay done. Creative reaction is the only way to describe it!

reactionary

A term used by college socialists and neo-Marxists to describe anyone with political views to the right of Mao. The word has its roots in the Communist model of history, where all of human history is supposedly one long class struggle between the working class and the bourgeois.
Chuck took an Uber on the Uber strike day! And last week, he told me he doesn’t believe in a 90% tax rate for the rich. He’s such a reactionary.

Deduction

1) An idea formed by deducing.

2) Subtraction.
1) I made the deduction that somebody had stolen my goldfish for revenge after putting the clues all together.

2) The ten-point deduction in round two really stomped out his internal fire; he just played the rest of the rounds out after that and took the loss.

reductive fallacy

One of the basic logical fallacies is the reductive fallacy, or in Latin, 'reductum ad absurdum'. Basically means taking a normal argument to such a far extreme (reducing it in an absurd manner) as an attempt to try to say it is wrong.

Note this is a logical fallacy. Just because one can think of some far out case.
Look man, if I give you $5 today then I'll have to give you $5 tomorrow, and then I'll be out $5 a day for the rest of my life.
