Calling up and possibly saying messed up things to a romantic or sexual interest while under the influence of alcohol.

The phonecall could be directed at an ex, or at someone you find unattractive when sober.

Origin: Unknown, but probably entered the mainstream from the film 'Sideways'.

Lionel: "Hey, baby, I think you're so fine. I don't care if you live 89 miles away, drive down here so I can make sweet love to you."

Ugly-chick or Ex-Girlfriend: "Ooh, it's about time you called me, big-boy. Wait... Are you drunk? Oh, I don't care. I'll be down in 15 minutes."

Todd (Lionel's friend): "What the hell are you calling HER for? She's the ex you dumped because she only shaved her legs in the spots where she had holes in her jeans! Did you drink and dial?"

Sex dialed

The same as being butt-dialed (being called on the phone by accident; the origin of the name comes from the phone being in the back pocket of someone and the keys being pressed when the person sits down and accidentally calling someone) except it occurs while the caller is having sex.

You can tell you've been sex dialed if you pick up the phone and nobody talks on the other end, and all you hear are moans, etc.

Travis: I was just sex dialed, like legit.

Gavin: sex dialed?

Travis: yeah, like butt dialed, except...

Gavin: OH. HAHAHAHA. Who was it?

Travis: Mike... fml...

Tone Dialer

A Tone Dialer is a tool used by almost all phreakers that phreak the pay phone systems. This is a tool that will produce tones automatically for you to play back into the phone system. These dialed tones may then be recorded onto a cassete or mp3 player and then later used at the pay phone system to get a free call. There are many of these dialers that are now available as software and some are becoming available for the Palm OS.

My tone dialer can produce tones from .00001Hz all the way to 100,000,000,0 Hz
