Blanket Fair

A event where you go home and go sleep in your bed. Usually used by a parent that trolled you successfully when you were little.

Dad: "Hey son, do you want to go to the blanket fair?"
Son: "Yes daddy yes!"
Dad: "The fuck you getting excited for?"

Originates from when Captain Cook first landed in Australia. When they used to drink the toast would be "Fair Drinking" and the saying has evolved from there.

An eccentuation of the commonly used phrase "to be fair", used particularly among the younger generation. Especially used when proclaiming extreme pleasure or agreement. Is linked to the words shal'heed and shal'moon.

Ricky: Do you think we should go clubbing tonight?
