micro-psychedelic

A group of substances that aren't traditionally associated with psychedelics, but which share some of the same mind-enhancing and expanding properties, often in a more mild, approachable form. Examples include kava, kratom, and functional mushrooms.

I'm excited to try some of the new micro-psychedelic products that are becoming available. I really think these products could open up peoples minds to the benefits of psychedelics and lead to further research and policy change around traditional psychedelics.

noun: falling asleep for no more than a few minutes at a time. usually taking place while in a seated position en route to a destination in a foreign country, it most notably occurs on tour buses of capital cities. a dream state isn't reached, but it's re-energizing ability is almost equivalent to a shot of espresso. the most common cause is due to jet-lag; no severe side effects; treatment is extended time spent in said foreign country
