This especially applies to people with attractions that are harmful when acted on, such as pedophilia, necrophilia, zoophilia, etc. When someone says they are anti-contact, they typically mean they are anti-contact with the types of paraphilias listed above, not anti-contact for every single paraphilia.

Often times making fun of the furry community for either acting in weird/unorthodox behaviour and activities to outright accusing the entirety of the furry community of engaging in grotesque acts such as pedophilia or zoophilia. Users who identify as an anti-furry will mostly use the icon of the anti-furry movement (containing a black white and red flag with a furry paw crossed out in the middle) but would often times use other sources of imagery as well to back their movement, this can include imagery from Warhammer, Halo, or Call of Duty, or even using propaganda from either Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union (more specifically during the leadership of Joseph Stalin from 1924 to 1953). It is important to point out however that although there are bad people in the furry community the actions of a few do not speak for the whole and any attacks from the anti-furry community are either mostly misinformation/misunderstandings, over exaggerations of real problems in the community, or outright closeted homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and racism.
A user online who identified to themselves as an anti-furry posted a bomb threat toward the upcoming furry convention.
