A sky hook is a fictional apparatus, the retrieval of which is demanded of newbie grocery store clerks as a kind of lighthearted hazing ritual. Often combined with bucket of steam.

hook-shot

A drinking game, one with really simple rules.
Usually performed at a party or social gathering, and there are two participants.
Two shots are poured, containing some form of hard liquor.
(It is optional to count down from 3 before the shot is taken.)

After the shot is swallowed, the two participants proceed to french kiss, in other terms "Hook Up" hence the name of the game.

Just a really easy, really simple way to get with someone.

Tom: "You know Jack hooked up with Lara last night?"

Kim: "Really, he's so shy, I never thought he'd try.."

Tom: "Well it was over a hook-shot so it wasn't too hard for him."
