Spinning Rust

Spinning Rust refers to a mechanical hard drive. Early hard disk drives had platters coated with iron(III) oxide, basically rust, hence the name.

I have 8TB of spinning rust in my computer.

Spinosaurus

A theropod that lived in Africa and Morocco 112.03 million years ago to 72. 1 million years ago in the Creatatious period. At first it was thought to be a full land dweller and with a build similar to the Tyrannosaurus Rex (Tyrant Lizard King) with a spine, but studies later found that Spinosaurus had a more crocodile like snout and most likely lived and hunted near water. But the same "closer to a T-Rex and mainly lived on land" idea was kept. As more more information was gathered, a new image of the Spinosaurus was made. The Spinosaurus was changed phenomenally from the first idea. Now it is thought to be pretty much a full water dweller only occasionally going out on land. Its arms were long with sharp, hook-like claws to snag fish. And it did not walk almost upright (the first idea of how the T-Rex walked, now proved wrong) it probably walked mostly on all fours (of course it would mostly swim). Its tail was also not thin and lizard-like. Instead it's tail was more like a paddle to help it swim, like a crocodile. It also hunted mainly fish, leaving less encounters with the Carcharodontasaurus, the other large predatory dinosaur that shared Spinosaurus's habitat. Though Carcharadontasaurus looked closer to a T-Rex. The end of Spinosaurus was caused by the earth warming up, the lakes and rivers that the Spinosaurus lived in dried up leaving no place for it to live and hunt.

I think Spinosaurus is the coolest dinosaur!

The Spice Boys

The term given to the core of young British players that played for Liverpool FC in the 1990s. Coined mainly as a derogatory term, it mocked the players' underachievement in winning trophies compared to the team of the previous decade, seen as a byproduct of their laddish behaviour and laissez-faire attitude to the game, such as the occasion they paraded the pitch before the 1996 FA Cup Final in Armani cream suits, and subsequently lost to rivals Manchester United. Since then, the term has also become a general slang term for garishly metrosexual young men, though it has largely slipped out of the common vernacular with 'fuckboys' being a more common modern alterntive.

If The Spice Boys had spent less time snorting lines and shagging strippers and more time training they might have actually won a league title.

Vagina Spiders

Vagina Spiders are spider-like creatures that live in middle-aged women's vaginas. They are mainly caused by being lazy, arrogant, and sleeping with men out of their league. Vagina Spiders are extremely territorial, biting anyone that steps in their presence; or should I say "sticks" in their presence. They reproduce by laying eggs in mattresses, though they must change bedding grounds every 5 years. A vagina spider fears nothing, so they are dangerous to all men. If you wake up in the morning in her bed and you have bite marks; immediately go to the hospital. Also, DO NOT come into contact with other men, because you were attacked by a Vagina spider and now carry them. If the woman you were sleeping with has Vagina Spiders, DO NOT come in close contact with her. Not only will the spiders know you are in their presence again, but their next attack will be deadly.

Guy: "Did you sleep with that girl Tina?"

chip spice

Paprika/tomato based seasoning sprinkled onto chips giving a tangy spicy flavour. Sold in white tubs (usually at fish and chip shops and fast food takeaways)with Statue of Liberty logo on and branded "American Chip Spice"

Only really seen/heard of in Hull, UK

It's tasty stuff if you can get hold of it.
