Kita Shinsuke

as inarizaki’s captain, kita shinsuke is the most underrated, sweet, adorable, and loving character in haikyuu. he’s also a hottie! people say his hair is really ugly, but they just have shitty taste.

Shinskie

noun. Someone who looks like they are wayyyyy too old for something. Derived from Boston College quarterback, David Shinskie, who is a 25 year old "freshman."

1) This kid on my little brother's middle school basketball team is such a Shinskie; he's 6'5" has facial hair, and says he's in seventh grade!

2) I went to a Magic the Gathering tournament last year. The average age of the people there was around 20, but there was this one Shinskie there who must have been 50 something!

Shinsengumi

A special police force of the late shogunate period.

The Shinsengumi was a band of warriors dedicated to protecting the Shogun. Saito Hajime was a well known Japanese samurai of the late Edo period, who most famously served as the captain of the third unit of the Shinsengumi.
