to go through your closet looking for clothes you forgot you owned. sometimes happens when you're short of cash, sometimes happens when you lose weight and discover a bunch of clothes that fit once again.

Any of a number of techniques known to only a scarce few (in some instances, just The Handyman) that will simplify any given task whilst working on projects in the Shop. Term introduced on the Handyman for the Common Man web-only TV show.

Dating someone who lives geographically close to you.

I was tired of having to take the subway into the city, then the PATH to New Jersey, just to spend time with my girl. So I decided to stop all that bullshit, we broke up, and now I only shop local.

Cop Shopping

When a shallow narcissistic person wants revenge really badly and the local cops won't do anything. They then go cop shopping from district to district until they can file false charges and police reports. Usually practicing their lies from cop to cop as they go district to district around the area they actually live in.

Carol Baskin couldn't get any Tampa judges to do anything about The Tiger King, so she went cop shopping around Florida until she found a judge that would help her sue him.

Little shop

When you need to buy groceries, but you're not in the mood to do a full grocery shop.

A little shop is where you only buy enough items to get you through the next couple of days.

Wife: We need to go and do a grocery shop.

Husband: I CBF doing a big shop, can we just do a "little shop" instead.

Any small car which is designed more for carrying shopping between supermarket and home than any other purpose. Often popular with the Barry crowd due to their low resale values and insurance premiums.

That's not a street racer, it's just a shopping car with three-spokes and a fart can exhaust.
