Definition:
A metal music sub-genre combing elements of shock rock, doom metal, black metal, and dark-folk music.

Key Characteristics:
- Dark & chromatic melodies.
- Odd & uncommon time signatures.
- Clean & gritty vocal styles.
- Folk instrumentation.
- Distorted electric and acoustic guitars.
- Keyboard and synth FX.
- Lyrical storytelling.
- Lyrical themes of folk horror, supernatural, etc.

Digital Horror

Digital horror is a branch of Analog Horror in which the world, instead of being presented in the format of old deteriorated VHS tapes and Television broadcasts, is instead modeled after the late 1990s to early 2010s aesthetics and technology (primarily using such tools as Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Flash, and Video Games from around the era in order to unsettle those Nostalgic for the era).

Good examples of Digital horror are Petscop, Lacy's Flash games, and Chezz Kids Archive.

A "sub-genre" of Roblox Horror Story Games that are cheap knock-offs of a game called "The Night-Shift Experience". They're most commonly known for having a thumbnail of a man crying blood out of his empty, dark eye sockets whilst wearing something and/or being in some place that relates to the experience.

Person 1: Bro, Roblox horror experiences are so trash!
Person 2: I know, right? They're so boring and they're everything but scary.
Person 1: Honestly, I prefer NEED MORE games.
