Get the Maybe to somebody but definitely not in comparison to you mug.Just like "I'll think about it", it is a synonym for no. It is used to not disappoint the person the person is talking to, however it can become counterproductive as it can lead to the person living under false hope and become even more disappointed when they eventually get no as an answer. Personally, I'd rather if the person wad honest and just said no because that would be it over and done with.

Get the Maybe mug.Maybe is a word often used when you don't have the balls to hurt other people feelings. So you think saying "maybe" will be better. Because in theory you never said either yes or no. You don't hurt your friends feelings. But in reality it just makes your friend wait for you and not make other plans. All in all just cooming out and sayingeither yes or no in the first place would be much better.
